Long luscious eyelashes is always a goal, but quite honestly it’s difficult to achieve that goal without eyelash extensions these days! Many women wear eyelash extensions, falsies, or gobs of mascara and I am no stranger to ALL of these methods. My natural lashes are very fine and thin, so I had lash extensions for over a year and a half before I removed them. Since then my eyelashes have never been the same:( I LOVED having my extensions at first, but after that long I needed to give them a break and wipe my eyes with a towel again! When I removed the extensions (over 2 years ago) my natural lashes were short, thin, and even more fine than before. As a result I began wearing false eyelashes every day and looking for other ways to enhance my natural lashes. This winter I was approached to try this lash enhancement product and I was more than happy to give it a shot! Here is my Before and After: Rodan+Fields Lash Boost results.
Before I started using the R+F Lash Boost, I had used other lash enhancement products and noticed improvement but I discontinued using anything about 4 weeks before starting this regimen. I would rarely go without false lashes because it was faster for me to apply falsies rather than try to apply enough mascara to make them look thick and long.
BEFORE LASH BOOST:
I have been using the product for 8 Weeks. I apply it at night after washing my face and removing all excess eye makeup, etc. It comes in a very pretty chrome tube and has great packaging with a cute zip-up pouch that would make a great small makeup bag to throw in your purse. It’s a clear gel and it brushes on smoothly. It feels cool to the eyelid, dries quickly, and I didn’t notice it on after about 1 min. Below is my first photo with just mascara, right before I began applying R+F Lash Boost.
AFTER LASH BOOST:
This photo was taken about 7+ weeks after using the R+F Lash Boost serum each night. I would apply the serum to my top lashes after removing makeup and cleansing my skin. I tried to apply it every night but I would forget a night or two here and there. Overall, I was very consistent and made it part of my nightly routine!
It’s a clear gel that was very cooling and soothing to the eyelids when applied. It dried clear and would leave a little residue on my lashes when I woke up in the morning. The residue was very minimal and it easily came off when gently pulled.
This lash product retails for $150, which sounds like a lot at first, but if you already are getting lash fills for $35-$45 a month you would pay for it within 3-4 months. I definitely see results in my 8 weeks of using this product and I still have a lot of product left. One tube lasts several months. I hope this is post is helpful if you are considering a lash enhancement product. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a LASH BOOST!
