Where is my appointment? Do you have a salon?

Our artists come on location to you. There are travels fees applied outside Meridian City Limits.  

What types of payment do you accept?

You will be invoiced for the amount of your service via PayPal, Quickbooks or other payment processor used. Your service must be paid in full and is due at the time of booking.

What’s the process for booking an appointment?

or Email bamakeupcompany@gmail.com to book 2 or more services.  You can email to inquire about your wedding date, book small groups, or if don’t see your preferred time available online. . After you inquire about your date, submit the Questionnaire, our office manager will be in contact with you regarding other specific details and invoicing. Your date WILL NOT BE BOOKED until you have paid your deposit. Appointments made within a short time frame must be PAID IN FULL immediately at the time of booking. ALWAYS CHECK SPAM for response messages to be sure you don’t miss it!  

What’s your cancellation policy?

If due to weather or unforeseeable causes the appointment can be rescheduled for another date. If you cancel within 48 hours of your event you will not be issued a refund. More cancellation policy details on our TERMS AND CONDITIONS (see bottom of site) 

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Please come with clean skin and dry hair for your appointment.

What safety precautions are you taking in response to COVID-19?

The health and safety of our clients is our #1 priority so we have incorporated extra sanitation steps for every service to ensure the safety of our clients. Please email us to request a copy of our sanitation guidelines. 

Do you do blow-outs?

No we do not provide blow out services.

What if I have lash extensions?

You can have lash extensions and get your makeup done. Your artist can add strip lashes over the top for additional volume or you can tell your artist that you don’t want any additional lashes. The price of your service will not vary if you do not want false lashes. 

Do lashes come with all makeup services?

Yes, strip lashes come with every makeup service but if you choose not to have them, please inform your artist at the beginning of your appointment. Brides receive a volume lash on the day of their wedding only.  The price of the service does not change if you decline lashes at the appointment.

Can I bring my own lashes?

Yes, you can provide your own lashes and bring them to your time of service. However, the price of your service will not change. Volume lashes are available for regular (non bridal) makeup services an additional charge.

Should I tip the artist?

Leaving your artist a tip is not required but always appreciated. You can leave a tip on the invoice or directly with the artist.  

What kind of product do you use? For makeup? For hair?

We us a variety of hair and makeup products! We have tested and trust all of the makeup and hair product in our kits and guarantee their wear and longevity. These products range from low to high-end brands. You can get a complete product list of our tried and true favorites in all of our makeup courses and our Amazon store!

Who will be my artist?

We have a team of professional hair and makeup artists who have all been trained in the Behrens Artistry branded style and look. You can request a specific artist when you book online fill out your questionnaire and we will do everything we can to accommodate your request. Otherwise it will be based on artist availability. 

Can I get a refund on my appointment or wedding deposit?

Payment is non-refundable, but can be applied to another day.  50% Deposits are non-refundable with no exceptions and explained in the terms and conditions. 

Does everyone in my bridal party receive a trial run?

Only brides receive a trial run before their wedding. Trial runs are not required for anyone in the bridal party. If anyone wants a trial run they can book it as an additional paid service before the event.

Can I forfeit the trial run for a reduced bridal rate?

No, bridal hair and makeup is non-negotiable price whether or not you choose to do the trial run.

How do I reserve my wedding day?

Bridal parties must pay ½ at the time of booking to hold that date.  The remaining balance must be paid in full within 60 days of the event. You are not guaranteed an artist or reservation until you have paid your deposit.  You have 24 hours after receiving your proposal to reply and make your deposit otherwise you may lose that date.

How many artists will be coming the day of my wedding to do services?

Depending on how many will be needing services & the timeline, you will have ONE artist for a party of 4 or less.  Parties of 5 or more generally require an assistant or additional artist. There is always a chance of change if the timeline allows for more or less help. It will be determined by the time & number of people receiving services. If you wish to add additional BA artists to adjust the timeline, there may be additional fees. Email our client specialist to inquire about adding additional artists.  

How much time does a typical hair and makeup service apt last?

We plan 45 minutes for Hair Services & 45 minutes for Makeup Services. With bridal parties, there’s a 15 minute block at the beginning for our artist to set up on location. If more than 1 client we include a 15 minute block for a sanitation break. We take sanitation very seriously & the artist will be expected to clean the brushes & makeup after each client. 

How long does it take to do a bridal party of 4 people (approx)?

A party of 4 would take approximately 6.5 hours. Here is an example of what a timeline for 1 artist to be doing services on a bridal party of 4 with necessary sanitation procedures.

9:00 AM: Bridesmaid #1 (MAKEUP)

What is the fee to add an additional makeup artist for my bridal party?

Email us to get the fees for adding additional aritsts to your event. 

Can I have extensions put in for my hairstyle?

Yes, our team of artists are trained to work with different styles of hair extensions. It is an additional fee for the time added in the hairstyle.

Do I need to provide anything for the artist?

No, they will come with everything they need in order to perform services. If you have any added accessories we request you have those ready at the time of service. 

Will I have the same artist for my trial run & wedding day?

Yes, the same artist will perform services for your trial run & wedding day!

If one of my bridesmaids decides she wants services done, can I add her after I’ve already paid the deposit?

Yes, you are welcome to request add or make any changes to who needs services up to 30 days before your wedding date. We can only guarentee the number of services you originally booked but we will do our best to accomodate if we can. F you remove services that will not change your final payment.

Can I get a discount for short/thin hair?

No, no discounts will be applied based on hair type and style.

Do you offer a Military discount?

We offer discounts on makeup lessons and non bridal hair and makeup services. Email to. inquire about the code.
