Makeup Tip: How to use eyeliner in your waterline
We each like to wear this look differently and for different reasons, keep reading to see how we each wear this makeup tip and why! *Hint- eye shape and color have a lot to do with it 😉 *
I wear white in my waterline to create contrast and open my eyes! I have slightly hooded eyes and when I need a more “awake” bright eyed look I always go for the lighter waterline!
Black eyeliner is a comfortable look for me with my darker features. In the waterline creates a more dramatic look that I enjoy for date nights and special occasions! It makes me feel more “made up” and I like the EDGE it gives me for an evening out!
White eyeliner is my JAM! I wear it daily regardless of the amount of makeup or look I’m going after. I have a quintessential almond eye shape and I feel like the white eyeliner just brightens up my entire look! I just feel so fresh and bright when I rock this look.
I don’t wear black as often because I have a tendancy to lean toward a natural makeup most of the time. BUT when I am wanting to look EXTRA special and EXTRA sultry black in the waterline is my go to tip! Let’s get real, I’m a stay at home mom and don’t get to the opportunities to rock a sultry look as much as I would want to. Goals for 2017!
I LOVE to wear white in my waterline because of how much it opens up my hooded blue eyes. I instantly feel like I look more awake and doe eyed with a nice bright white eyeliner in my waterline. It is definitely a go to step for me in a daily make up look. *Yes, I was fully inspired by Linds to switch from a nude liner to a bright white in my water line :D*
I used to wear black in my waterline ALWAYS in high school and haven’t done it in about a decade since I thought it make my eyes look so much smaller- BUT not any longer! It is easy to skip top liner, just throw on some mascara and put that black in your waterline however I PROMISE that it will change your life if you add some liner to your top eye lid and then smoke out the bottom lash line a bit with a dark shadow. By adding these two steps to this tip it will prevent your eyes from getting closed in, but rather quite the opposite.
